Infants with Typical Development

Children experience amazing development over the first few years of life, and we are interested in learning about the nature of development for infants experiencing typical development and those at risk of developmental delays.

We are currently recruiting typically developing infants who are 6 months of age or younger.

Participation entails four assessments at 6, 9, 12, and 24 months of age. Each assessment lasts 2-4 hours and involves in-person play-based assessments of the child’s developmental skills and an interview with the parent(s) regarding their perception of their child’s development. Assessments may take place at your home or at the University of South Carolina Columbia campus. Participating families will receive summary reports of their child’s development by infant development experts and compensation (up to $400 total).
